A spring break in Western Sicily
From Palermo to Marsala, Selinunte and Agrigento, this part of the island will show you a stunning mix of art and culture. Once you get to Palermo, for example, you have the chance to discover the Arab-Norman style of the Cathedral together with the small towns of Monreale and Cefalù. Moreover, don’t miss a visit to Teatro Massimo and don’t forget to take a look at some beautiful churches such as Cappella Palatina and Martorana.

Towards Trapani…
Next stop, Marsala to see the salt road and of course, drink a typical glass of wine. And if you deeply love history, stop in Segesta and fall in love with the beautiful archeological park. At sunset, jump in your car and drive to Agrigento to discover the Valley of Temples, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Italy.

A spring break in Eastern and Southern Sicily
For your spring break, choose Eastern and Southern Sicily. Explore Catania & Mount Etna, Taormina, Siracusa and Ragusa.
This is the cool side of the Ionian Sea!

Once you are in Catania, enjoy the historical center and do some shopping in the fashionable Via Etnea. Put the fish market (called A’ Piscaria) on your bucket list, it’s something unique that every tourist should visit to literally feel the scent of Sicily. Bear in mind that you cannot say Catania without including a day-trip to Etna. It’s the highest volcano in Europe and is characterized by a very peculiar flora and fauna and when you arrive on the top, enjoy the view…did you know that you can see Calabria and the Aeolian Islands as well?

Towards the South…
Which was the greatest Greek colony in Sicily? It’s your next spring break destination: it’s Siracusa. This city has a lot to offer: from the archeological park of Neapolis that includes the Greek theater, the Latomia of Paradise and the Ear of Dionysius to Ortigia, the historical center of the city.

Your last stop is the most Southern province of Sicily, Ragusa. This town is famous for being the ‘house’ of Sicilian Baroque, the Cathedral is a gem such as the giardino Ibleo, the most ancient garden of the city. And if you are a fan of the Inspector Montalbano, a successful Italian TV series, visit Punta Secca, the location used to film most of the scenes, where you can take a look at his dreaming house on the beach.
