Cantine Aperte 2012. Discovering Sicilian tastes.
The most important Sicilian wineries will be opened for tourists and visitors during “Cantine Aperte”, the event promoted by Movimento Turismo del Vino on 27th of May 2012 that celebrate this year its 20th anniversary.
Sunday dedicated to our Region finest wine tasting, known all over the world and the driving force of wine-and-food tourism, very appreciated in our places.
Wine-and-food tourism is considered the “new way of travelling”: thanks to both the recent great success of farms and creation of proper “taste’s routes”, it is possible to associate Knowledge of Sicilians places with typical food tastings. With “Cantine Aperte” the association Movimento Turistico del Vino wants to promote a larger diffusion of wine culture as a new way to discover Sicilian region, thanks to all the amazing tastes and flavours which characterised it.
Sicily tour and a good tasting of its popular food and wine will give the chance to know this beautiful region totally. Here is the list of Sicilian wineries which join the event.
