Catania is the Sicily’s dynamic fulcrum: it has an intense nightlife and it is known abroad as one of the most popular European cities for entertainment. The historical city centre is very popular, especially the zone among Piazza Duomo, Piazza Università, Piazza Teatro Massimo where the majority of crowded nightclubs and pubs are placed. In Catania there are artistic treasures, popular tradition and amazing views: it’s impossible not to quote the Baroque style that characterised all the city, declared Unesco World Heritage.

Etna, here called “’a muntagna”, is the guardian of Catania beautiful coast, known as Riviera dei Ciclopi, recalling mythological legends about Ulysses and Polypheme.
